Them again?

It’s Friday afternoon; I want to do nothing… wow, that’s surprising! I’m sitting at my desk at work. It’s kind of uninteresting – it’s shit really. So here I am… sitting on my sad desk chair, looking at the sad carpet – it looks sorry to be existing -, surrounded by sad looking people – they also look sorry to be existing right now – and I’m wondering: what the hell could I do to make this acceptable?

And the only thing I can come up with is Belle and Sebastian – again?! Of course it was gonna be Belle and Sebastian, I’ve been wanting to listen to them this whole week. I’m not quite sure why, but they make me feel so cosy and comfortable and like the world is cute. You know, like the carpet shouldn’t be too sorry to be existing.

So after last week’s Expectations from their debut, here I’m sharing with you I’ll Be Your Pilot from How to Solve Our Human Problems that came out earlier this year. This one makes me think of the book Wind, Sand and Stars by my favourite, favourite writer, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – you know, the dude from the Little Prince!! So I really like it!
